Text Box: Greetings Lions and Lioness,                               February 2005   It is the time of year that many of our members go south for the winter, which gives our clubs officers time to look over their budget for the year and start planning for their coming events for the new year. It is also a time to start planning for new club officers. It is important to know early on who will be your new officers for 2006-2007. The sooner your club lets the District Governor or the Vice-District Governor know who your new officers are the chances are the correct information will get into the new directory. It is also important to see to it that the new officers get training. Training dates and times will be in the upcoming newsletters.   Just recently we had another very successful convention meeting. We chose a beautiful convention pin. We also focused on the new seminars we will be having. There will be educational seminars along with just plain fun seminars. Something for everyone. Inside this newsletter you will find the registration form. Remember we would like to see at least one, and hopefully more, representatives from each club there.   Don’t forget our cabinet meeting on February 5th in Fifield at the Northwoods Restaurant.
