Medford Lions Sweep 2008 Wisconsin State Lions Curling Bonspiel at Waupaca

Thirty two teams competed in the State Lions Curing Bonspiel hosted in Waupaca.  Winners of the first event was the Medford team of Dave (Beaner) Lemke, Jim Sorge, Dave Lemke, and Shirley Lemke of the Medford Lions Club as they skipped by Bob Hanson with Prive Kopp, Bill Truaz, and Doc Saccia.  Second Event was captured by the Waupaca Lions team of Floyd Swan, Wayne Much.

In the third event the Stetsonville Lions with Mitch Mertens, Bill Wieland, Bob Bernklau, and Craig Zimgible bested the Rick Reesman team with Jim Bonton, Jeremy Harms, John Smith from the Burlington Lions Club.  Ettrick Lions Don Albetson, Wahyne Truax, Mike Onsrud and Brian jhacobs won the forth event over South Milwaukee Lion Don Stoddard, Don Peterson, Pete Vlaj and Robert Wear.
